Default Where can I find?

I just moved to Leesburg a few months ago.
Does anyone know of any place in the area that is similar to Stew Leonard's?

Anyone who has lived in Connecticut or New York will know what I am talking about.

Have you tried Wegman's? Huge selection and quality and competitive prices on most commonly used food items.

Wegmans

It is a HUGE farmers market that sells local (fresh) products. Seafood, deli, fruits, vegetables, butcher, etc. Like I said, if you are familiar with Connecticut you would know what I am talking about.

There is actually a Tom Leonards, Welcome to Tom Leonard's Farmer's Market!, in Richmond that is exactly the same thing, only Richmond is a bit far away.

Wegmans

That looks pretty good, I'll have to check it out. The website shows that there is one in Dulles that is about 20 minutes from me.

Stew Leonard-style stores full of animatronic mooing cows and crowing roosters in a Ikea-like floor plan, just doesn't exist around these parts. We can only hope it will stay that way.

To find the closest real farmers market, just put your zip code in here: Local Harvest / Farmers Markets / Family Farms / CSA / Organic Food

Alythough I still live in CT and will not be moving to NOVA until the fall, the only thing that I have found close to a Stew Leonards type store when I visit NOVA is Whole Foods. I rarely buy groceries in Whole Foods...same is true of Stews. Too expensive. For meat, fish, bakery and produce in CT, Stew's is very good, but again expensive. That seems to be the case for Whole Foods as well.

Wegmans.
There is one in Ashburn but soon to be one in Leesburg at rt7 and battlefield (where they are constructing the fly over bridge now) Better priced than Whole foods.

Trader Joes.
One in Reston.

Whole Foods but I don't know where the closest one is.
