Alternate route
Does anybody know of an alternate route from Alexandria to Dumfries/Triangle besides the I-95 or Route 1?

If there is, I am not aware of it. The only other thing that you could do is 66 to 234 which isn't going to be much better.

By boat on the Potomac River is the best way to make that trip!
