Smile Looking for Basement rental with private entrance/ for married young couple

Greetings'
My wife and myself are looking for a starter Basement Rental with Kitchenette and Bathroom, in the Northern Virginia region. Like everybody else today we are a struggling young couple trying to make ends meet. I work mostly on the internet, and my wife is on disability from a automotive accident. We are a nice quiet couple, who like things simple and easy going. Anybody with any ideas beyond the obvious Craig list, or apartment rentals paper articles, etc. We are willing to pay any reasonable rental fee, and would prefer at least a six month rental but that is negotiable to a certain extent. We are not looking for Park avenue, but something decent, and clean in a safe neighborhood.

You should post a price range you are looking in that would help good luck on your search.

Post your own ad on Craigslist. That is how I got mine in Tampa. I am on disability also and did not have a lot for a deposit. I did the search, but had better luck with my own ad. Short term apartments are very expensive. You can get a short term lease for some places up there. Check out Apartments.com and also to get real advice on complexes, check Apartmentratings.com. It is really good. Good Luck
