Seeking info on Woodbridge VA zip code 22192
Hello,
I recently was looking at Greatschools .com and noticed that a few elementary public schools with good rating are located in zip code 22192. I would like to know what is the quality of life in this area?

Its Lake Ridge. Very nice place to raise a family.. There are alot of community pools, parks, and nice sidewalks.. I also heard that; its extremely safe. I am living in Stafford but spent alot of time looking for a place up there.. But we just could not find what we were looking for that time.

Housing is at bargain prices down in Prince William. If you are going to buy anywhere and anytime, great opportunity down there.
Just a sample of a good deal.

I don't place much value on Greatschools as I think it is pretty much a gossip site, but the schools in the 22192 area are pretty good. I believe they would include those such as Old Bridge, Lake Ridge, Springwoods...

I would personally recommend Rockledge Elementary for your children. They are always School of Excellence acceptees and I find that it is alot more of a diverse atmosphere then the neighboring ones for some reason. A plus also is that most of the teachers there have been teaching for 15+ years.
Just pick your choice of anywhere up and down Old Bridge Road they're all winners.

Anything off of Old Bridge west of Mohican is great. I would go with Westridge, Old Bridge Estates, anything off of Great Bridge (very expensive homes, I don't know what your range is). Gainesville on the west end is very nice as well.

Fort Belvoir
The US Army is moving 20,000 + jobs to Fort Belvoir. The homes in Woodbridge will get soaked up in this mass migration. Also, just as an aside, try Schooldigger.com, I have found this site to be very good at fact reporting.
Good Luck, I too am moving to the Northern Va area, but I will be working in Chantilly, this area is a little out of the way for me.

I loved, loved, loved living in Lake Ridge!!!! My girls went to Old Bridge Elementary and it was an outstanding school. We lived in Lynnwood. I loved my neighbors, the fact that shopping and the gym was just a moments drive. You really couldn't do better if you are looking in that area. Lake Ridge Middle, Westridge and Woodbridge High are good schools as well.
