Hello,
My husband will be starting a new job in Falls Church at the end of the month. We now live near Annapolis, MD - great area, schools, etc, but we're concered about his commute and are wondering if we should consider relocating. Does anyone have any feedback on the commute from Annapolis to Falls Church and/or suggestions of possible towns within a 1/2 hour drive from Falls Church area? Our biggest concern is a great school system and our price range is up too 600K. We'd prefer a newer home but that's not set in stone and we'd like around 2500+ square feet - the more the better.

Thanks in advance for any advice!!
Jen

Why not move to FC and avoid the 2+ hour one way commute ??
FC city (verses unincorporated Fairfax County that for Post Office reasons refers to itself as Falls Church but is actually outside the town limits) is a town, pretty desirable too..

Thanks for the advice - I did look into FC city but the house prices are astronomical - for what we can afford, we'd have to by a small house or townhouse and we're not willing to do that. I was hoping to find a nice town/city that was less expensive but still with a great school system. I know, might be impossible.
