Super Chicken!
We love Super Chicken on Rt. 29 (422 S. Washington St) in Falls Church. We stumbled upon it after renting a Viola from Foxes Music next door.
Foxes Music is a definitely a throw back to a bygone era.
Back to Super Chicken! YUMMY! There will be no conversation with the employees unless you speak their language. They will understand completely what your order is. Your belly will be full and satisfied.

I just tried Super Chicken the other day and wasn't too impressed. It was the one on Sudley Road in Manassas. It was ok, but nothing great. The fried yuca was stone hard too. I prefer the chicken at Guapos (Manassas & Woodbridge).

In Vienna, C & C Garage is very good -- local guys who live in Vienna so they are honest and do good work for a reasonable price. Friendly, too.
Johnny's Pizza on Park Street has good pizza and SUPER cheap meals -- specials every night for around $6.95.
Sylva's Patisserrie (Eastern European bakery) on Glyndon Street in Vienna -- excellent pastries and Armenian baklava.
Bazin's on Church Street -- excellent restaurant -- a little upscale but on a very cool street -- call for reservations.
Nielsens Custard on Church street -- yummy homemade custard. Really good.
Foster's Grill -- better than Five Guys -- next to Magruders in Vienna at the intersection of Lawyers and Maple Avenue.
The Greek Grill -- really good Greek salads -- right on 123 or Maple Avenue -- next to Dunkin Donuts.

Oh -- just tried another really good Vienna place tonight. It's called Plaka Grill at the intersection of Lawyers and Maple Avenue (Rt 123). They have excellent gyros and side dishes -- their baklava is AWESOME (not too sweet and a little spicier) and try their Greek green beans with a tomato cinnamon sauce. Gosh -- it was good! You can also just get the meat and take it home and make your own Greek salads -- they have pork shoulder and the traditional lamb and beef. Also whole rotisserie chickens but I did not try the chicken. Loved the gyro!

Kobe Grill in Herndon. Like the Panera of Japanese, but not a chain (I think). Simply and nothing crazy, but addictive and good quality.
Curry's Automotive, Chantilly, Sterling, etc. - Professional trustworthy place that accommodates high performance cars very well.
Common answer, but Hellburger in Rosslyn - Lives up to the hype

Monster find here. After not getting return calls from folks that claimed to do remodeling since I didn't want a 50k kitchen, this guy was all to happy to come in and do 9 different random projects around my house for a fraction of the price. I had granite counters, tiled and laminate flooring, closets built, lighting installed and custom cabinetry done. Can't recommend him enough.

For vegans in the Rte. 1 corridor desiring Chinese delivery - Bamboo Garden on 6331 S Kings Hwy # B (Alexandria mailing address but in Ffx. Co.)
They have the best vegan, high-quality, low-fat versions of Chinese-American comfort dishes (sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, etc.) for dirt-cheap prices. The veggies are always incredibly crispy and fresh, too. Finally, it's like a two- or three-person show (Su Mi [the one who almost always answers the phone] and her children?) and they are always SO NICE and deliver very quickly. What more could you ask for?

I just wanted to note how much I love this sticky and use it quite a bit. Someone recently suggested "de-sticking" this thread because there aren't a lot of new posts. What they don't realize is this thread is used all the time as a reference tool. I often look for suggestions in here, even if there aren't any new posts.
