I can second this. They're a good shop, though kinda far from everything.

I totally disagree. I am a female, no hubby & have done the smart thing. I learned how to fix many things on my car. (1995 E36 Vert)

If you want to put your head in the sand as far as general mechanical issues, be my guest. But don't make that blanket statement & expect us mechanically inclined gals to sit back & agree with you.

Sorry, no offense. I just do not know how to fix a car, and never met a female in my life who was able to fix a car. Good for you!

Thumbs up BMW of Fairfax

I posted this on yelp.com (bit.ly/qLBIX3) a couple months ago, but I thought it would also be helpful here. Since getting my car repaired, I have repatronized BMW of Fairfax for routine maintenance, including an oil change and tire rotation...same great experience!

"After a fender bender, I had my car repaired at BMW Fairfax. Staff and work quality was great; bumper looks brand new! They took the insurance appraisal from Progressive, no questions asked. Finished the job in only a couple days. Enterprise rental car location near the shop. Overall great experience here."

Welcome to German Auto Group - Mercedes Benz, BMW, Porxche, Audi, VW, Volvo & Saab

+1

We have been taking our cars (LandRover, Mercedes & BMW) to German Autogroup for about 3 years now. Hands down one of the best places in the area. Should you decided to go to German ask for Sammi or Tim.

My wife would take offense to that too! She learned her mechanical skills from her dad working on busses. Knew how to change the oil on one by the time she was around 10. She's helped me change out many a part on my jeep. Last one was the alternator.

Alexandria Bavarian Service. Owned and run by a BMW enthusiast. He has an Isetta and a 3.0CS. Knowledgeable to a ridiculous degree--and honest.
