Ok, I swear to God, I bought my BMW before I found out just about everyone in NOVA drives a BMW!

My warranty is up, and I'm looking for a good, fair priced (might not exist in NOVA ) repair shop that I can take my car in for maintenance.

Where do you go? Thanks!

you should just dump that car ASAP and buy a Toyota corolla. because it's going to keep costing you a lot to repair it. especially on your Salary living in Tyson's Corner

Really? I've taken pretty good care of it, and it only has 33k miles on it.

So, if you would have known everyone drove a BMW you would not have purchased one?

No. However, If I had known you drove one, I would not. Thanks for your response.

Then why are you even in this thread? 2 posts so far and no contribution what so ever.

This guy's great; the work he did for me was top notch and at a fair price (better than fair even). Too bad he's in New Jersey. He runs a small shop and I think he has a good reputation in the mechanic community, so if you shoot him an email, he may have a suggestion for someone he'd recommend in the DC area.

If you want to 'fly,' you gonna have to bring it to the airport! MrMCar @ the Monmouth Airport, NJ.

Another resource, although it's hard to tell which are the better ones:

BMW Repair Shops & Mechanics in Virginia | BimmerShops.com

You can also go onto bimmerfest or bimmerpost and ask around. Good luck. If you find someone good, please come back and update this post.

This is the best place there is. Ask for Taylor Chapman. He's the only guy in the world I ever trusted with my Porsches and he finally went indie and has his own shop. He does it right the first time.
