Reliable Brake Mechanic - Springfield
I recently moved to the NOVA and would like some input on local, reliable brake mechanics. Since I have some miles on my auto, and am experiencing some vibration when braking at higher speeds, it's probably time for new rotors and bearings, along with brake pads. As many might know, this can be an expensive repair job. I don't mind paying for good work, but want to use someone reliable and experienced. Any referrals?
Thanks,
Joe G.

There was a similar thread about a few weeks ago regarding brakes.

Check out www.brakemasters.net. They come right to your home or office and make the repairs on the spot. Steve, the owner, has been providing this service for over 20 years. Many good reviews...I'm a very satisfied longtime customer!

I did a search and only found some information on a mobile brake service in Fairfax. The work I have in mind will probably take more time and labor than a mobile service can supply. If you are referring to another ppost, please include the title, thread, or date.

I posted in another thread that we like and use the Shell at Duke & Pickett-Alexandria (West End) - that's not far from Springfield.

Steve at BRAKE MASTERS will have no problem taking care of whatever brake repair issue you have. He is an ASE Certified brake expert. Plus his parts quality is much higher than most independent garages. He runs a very smooth operation. Google "brakes Fairfax" and read his reviews.

We've had good experiences with Kings Park Exxon and Cardinal Plaza shell. Both are in the Springfield area.

I actually started the original thread. I suggest you give Steve @ Brake Masters a call. I believe he provide a no-cost inspection so just ask. If he does, then you'll have nothing to lose.
