Why rent?

The housing market is starting to turn around (here)... I'd say now is the time to buy. But if you can't find a rental house in your price range, then do what you have to do. The nice thing about renting, is that you can buy whenever, and just move, without worrying about having to sell your place.

Why rent? Because we can move whenever we want to if we end up moving to an area we end up not liking. Plus we just won't have enough time to physically look at homes before we move. I just hope I will be able to decide between Fredericksburg area and Richmond area. The drive is not the main issue for us. Schools and surroundings are. Thanks for your help.

I am also moving in the area of Fredericksburg , Stafford County area. My husband is accepting a job with the County of Stafford,, I really need feed back i have been reading all the comments and have helped but moving is both exciting and stressfull at the same time.. I am an ultrasound tech and have an interview at Mary Washington hospital.Anyone know how that hospital is? I am also looking to rent something till i get to know the area to find a permanent home.. I dont want to move into a suburb, my children are in college here in Michigan and my son in the navy with a home in VA beach.. my question is i like a little bit of space in between houses or am looking at other options besides apt to rent.. is there any good place to find a house for rent or any other suggestion would greatly be appreciated.. thanks willing to commute less than an hour though.
