Lake Ridge/Woodbridge apartment rentals
Does anyone have any info or opinions about the following apartment complexes?
Dominion Lake Ridge (Bluff View Court)
Dominion Middle Ridge (Creekview Cir)
Windsor Park (Penshurst Lane)
Springwoods at Lake Ridge (Mid Summer Lane)
The Landings at Markham's Grant (Norris Point Way)
Woodwind Villa Apartments (Saxophone Way)
Glen Arbor Apartments (Stevens Rd)
Crossings at Summerland (Keelingwood Circle)
Woodbridge Forest (Monroe Dr)
I am looking to rent a pet-friendly 2 or 3-BR apartment, preferrably with washer/dryer in the unit, for $1200 or less.
Thank you!!!

If you don't find what you like at these places, also check out homesdatabase.com. They have residential rentals listed, and there are 24 listings fitting your criteria (don't know about w/d in all, but at least in some) in the 22191/22192 zips. This could expand your options into some townhomes and condos as well as apartment complexes.
I don't know anything about the particular rental complexes you mention, though. Sorry.

Springwoods at Lake Ridge is very nice. Anything in that immediate area would be good to go. Rt.1 tends to be....interesting. I would personally stick with Springwoods out of your list.

Yes, I agree with nitrovic about Springwoods. I do believe that they have a salary cap, though (can't make too much money to live there). Call and check to be sure.
I used to live in Glen Arbor, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Stay away from there.
Summerland looks pretty nice (from the road) and the folks I've known who lived there never complained about it.
Markhams Grant is probably the safest area since it's right beside the police station. LOL!

I lived in Springwoods back in 2007. The apartments were junk. We were on the bottom floor which was great for convenience but it was always freezing cold during the winter which caused our heat to run nonstop. Our electric bill was 50% more in our two bedroom apartment compared to our 3 story townhouse. Our windows were always clouded over with moisture from all the humidity. We also had mold growing in the second bedroom around the window and near the floor board. Maintenance was awful as well. We had many reported problems in the apartment which caused us to contact maintenance quite frequently. We would sometimes have to call 2 or 3 times before they would show up. It's possible that our apartment was a "bad egg" but after moving out I read apartment reviews about Springwoods and many people were complaining about the exact same issues. I wish I had read the reviews before renting there. One complex I would suggest that I really liked was Rolling Brook. I never had any problems at Rolling Brook and they are pet friendly and also closer to 95 than Springwoods.
