Very smart. That is the only way to buy a car!!! Send your specific vehicle request out to multiple dealers via email. Get the best offer out of the bunch, send it out to the other dealers and ask if they can beat it. Now, rinse and repeat until you're paying thousands below the Edmunds TMV price and all dealers are within a couple hundred dollars of each other. Print your email quote, walk into the dealer and enjoy your stress free purchase!

I think you're being sarcastic, but if not, I can dig up plenty of things to sell to you, you know, as a way to 'help the economy'!

Yup that is exactly what we did. And it was pretty easy and I was able to accomplish it all in three days with a two year old and 8 1/2 months pregnant! Oh, and I also sold my car for cash on craigslist for $2K more than the dealer offered for trade in. And it needed a lot of work.

Thank you to those of you who honestly tried to answer my question.

To those of you who decided to pass judgment on my vehicle choice/spending habits/energy consumption and anything else with the absolutely limited information you were given, all I can say is whatever.

Priced toooo high. I bought new EX-L last Dec for $26500, listed $31K, internet $28K. I suggest you write a check for $28K as take it or leave it deal. There are at lease 7 honda dealers in the area, and I am sure one will take the deal.

sorry typo, $26000 take it or leave it. It is a great time to buy a car. Do your research first and ask for internet quote, then use that to against each dealer for the best price.
