Default The Seven Corners Thread

This thread will be dedicated to discussing anything related to Seven Corners including: food, grocery stores, shopping, safety and traffic.

Do you like Seven Corners? Do you go their often?

Looks like the closest Target near me is in Sevens Corner. How is the service at this Target?

A lot of Asian restaurants are in this area!

Is this a safe area? Are there latino gangs? Drove through there the other day and saw a lot of people just hanging out around the corners and looking around. Is there a lot of drug activity?

If you don't like Seven Corners, What is a better recommendation?

What are the best things about Seven Corners? What are the worst?

What is the traffic like? When is the best time to go shopping?

When you go to Seven Corners, where do you usually go?

Thanks. Look forward to reading your comments!

The best thing about Seven Corners? Not having to drive to Gaithersburg (or Rehoboth!) to go to Dogfish Head.

It's a decent place. I go there for Mark's Duck House and Dogfish Head Alehouse mostly.

Not sure about the "service" but it is a pretty big Target with a wide selection. It's a nicer Target than Potomac Yard, but not as big as Skyline Target.

Some of the apartments in that area are fairly low-income and come with the problems that usually entails. Is it safe to go shopping and dine in the shopping centers there? Definitely. Is it safe to hang around one of the seedy apartment buildings late at night? Probably not.

Best things: The restaurants and the Target. Also, Seven Corners has the closest Home Depot and Sears locations to Arlington.

Worst things: Traffic on 50 is awful. The shopping centers could be spruced up and modernized. Would also be nice if the area were more walkable.

Early afternoon or late at night. Any time close to rush hour is bad.
