Default Southeast Culpeper County (Lignum, Richardsville)

I've searched the boards here & googled the internet for any sort of a discussion group related to the Southeast "corner" of Culpeper county.

I'm trying to get a feel for the area from people that actually live (or work) in the area. I live & work in Fredericksburg and I'm considering purchasing some land and building a house eventually.

I am looking for a rural/semi-rural atmosphere that's reasonably close to Fredericksburg. When I lived in NJ I lived in such an area (yes, there are actually rural areas in NJ!) and I really miss it. I miss the peace, the small town feel and the whole atmosphere of living in such a place.

Any comments about the area or suggestions about online forums/blogs/whatever?

Thanks,
David

I too, for my own interests, would like to know about the demographics of Culpepper County as a whole.
Is this a rural area, or suburban?
Is it in danger, or is it blessed with being too far away (75 miles) for commuting sprawl?
