Question Any comments about Mount Vernon area?

How about the Mount Vernon area to live and work?

Does anyone have any suggestions on neighbourhoods to rent apartments?

I believe it is in Fairfax county, any word about this county?

Mt. Vernon is a lovely area, particularly perhaps for people who are interested in being near some water. It can tend to be on the expensive side, however. Neither apartments nor jobs are particularly easy to come by in Mt. Vernon.

Fairfax County is home to more than a million people. It is prosperous, safe, and generally well run, with first-rate schools and a wide variety of other attractions and amenities. The two things that people most dislike about the area are: 1) horrible traffic; and 2) the high cost of living.

No, it's not really like Florida. Know that area pretty well, except perhaps for the panhandle. I'll be in Cocoa Beach and then Vero Beach a week from now as a matter of fact. In any case, Mt. Vernon is just a spot on the map of the NoVa region. A nice one, to be sure, but still just one. Depending on what it is you're looking for, it might be lying around here somewhere...
