new communities to look at in warrenstown , gainnesville?
we are looking into relocating to the area, I am trying to see if there are any newer communities with amenities like pools, playgrounds etc.. that you could get a 4-5 bedroom home for a max of 550k.... if you could supply any names of developments to look at I would greatly appreciate it. the job I am considering is in Faquier (sp) county, near Faquier Hospital..
Thank you

Just to be sure... you're referring to Warrenton and Gainesville, no?

Yes, but it's okay. And I meant to mention Fauquier County/Hospital.
Now since I know very little about those two towns so I'll leave that to those more knowledgeable.

Look at any neighborhoods in Warrenton & Gainesville for sure. Also, in the Haymarket area (off of Rt. 15) you could research Piedmont and Dominion Valley...there are other neighborhoods in those areas as well. Great amenities, schools, shopping, etc. If you would like help navigating the choices, let me know - I have GREAT sources that could be of excellent help in your search.

Hi there! Well I live in Haymarket, in the new development Villages of Piedmont. I believe the single family homes are in your price range and they are brand new. I love this community. It is tucked back in the woods, has a pool, tennis courts and soon to have volleyball/basketball courts. The HOA dues aren't bad either. My grandparents live in Dominion Valley and they love it there as well. They have MANY amenities, but the HOA dues are quite outrageous. But it is a great community. There are also some nice communities in G'ville-Piedmont is one of them. Good luck with your search!

IMO...The only problem with living in the communities posted above is the $200+/month HOA assesment fees and use of a golf course. Sure, you get a lot in return for what you pay for, but it leaves you less choices and flexability. For example, if you don't want cable TV, and don't care for swimming then you still have to pay for it.
if you're not a golfer or swimmer, then find a smaller community with less than $100/month HOA assesments so you can have more choices and save money. There out there.
