Do you need metal or can you use a composite? Do you need something contemporary in design or historic?

Try the big box stores and any local fence/gate companies. I prefer the quality of a fencing company personally and also with doing business with a local small business.

Also, if you just need handrail (depending if you need something historic or not), you could try an architectural salvage shop or Habit for Humanity's ReStore. The have things that have been donated as well as stuff from houses they are renovating. I'm not sure where an HH ReStore would be in NoVA; I go to the one out here in Winchester.
