Default Having a hard time to get a nanny job, need help please!

Dear All,

One of my Thai friend who lives in Alexandria has been looking for babysitting/ nanny job for 2 months. Unfortunately, there's no any family reply her back. I totally understand that the economic has affected a lot of people. However, I still really want to help my lovely friend to get a job.

Right now, she hasn't paid the rent for 2 months yet. I would love to help but, my family we're not rich, need to take care of ourselves, too. The best thing that I can do right now is trying to help her get a job as soon as possible. She told me today that she didn't have even food to eat because right now she has only $50. I told her I will send her some food but can't help her pay the rent. But she will be kicked out of the apartment this Monday if she doesn't pay them money. So I don't know where she will live and where I can send her some food.

"Ao" or "Sasit" is her name. She is a part time student . She just moved from Texus to VA 2 months ago. She is available to babysit Monday - Thursday at 7.30 am - 5 pm and Friday - Sunday at 7.30 am - 10 pm. She used to join an Au Pair program and has the childcare experience for more than 3 years. She also graduated Bachelor Degree in Education from Thailand.

If you are looking for the experienced nanny, please contact her via direct messaging this post. Moderator cut: listing e-mail addresses let alone phone numbers on a public forum is not recommended.

Thank you so much for your time reading this. Hopefully, she will get a job soon. God bless you

Best Regards,

A ( Her only Thai friend)

This agency is supposed to be good, maybe they can help her:

Welcome to White House Nannies,Washington, D.C.'s premier child care placement agency dedicated to providing the highest quality child care to its clients. (http://www.whitehousenannies.com/nanniesWelcome.php - broken link)

Also, I wonder if the State Department or Thai embassy might have some way of referring her to a Thai family that would be interested in her background?

The OP is over 3 years old, so I hope they've found a job by now!
