So: think folks will panic
Given that this is probably the first (and most confusing) weather forecast in ages. Think folks will panic? (rush out to buy bread/milk/tp) LOL
(For the record, I'm not: We certainly have enough of all the above, as well as food on hand)
I actually wanted to get some grape tomatoes today but didn't want to deal with the crisis folks.

I was in Trader Joes in Reston today.
It was packed, people buying milk and other "essentials".

People love to panic, it gives them something to do.

DH pointed to Bi-Lo as we drove past, the parking lot was packkkkked. I asked if that was because of the weather forecast and he said it probably was.

Darn. I never even listened to the weather. What's up?
Sunday morning is my usual shopping time. I guess I better get moving.

I just got back from running my car into a ditch.
I didn't want to wait 'til tomorrow when all the good spots might be taken!

Went to Safeway on King St after church. It was pretty packed. Mom even bought herself wine and cake (two things she aint consumed in years.)
I'll bet she'll get tomorrow and Tues off while i have to go in. I'll be braving the 1 hour 15 min bus ride to the Ft. Belvoir area instead of my 20 min drive as usual.

We had already planned to go shopping this weekend, as our cabinets were seriously bare. We got up early and made it to Wegman's by 9:30 to beat the storm crowd. It was nice, because we beat the after-church crowd, too. We might start going at 9:30 all the time, now.
