Catch a flight on www.asianaairlines.com at Dulles. They serve it like Tiger Beer described, with very fresh romaine lettuce leaves to wrap it in. Some of the best airline food, that I have ever had.

I second that -- Asiana Airlines, which is Korean, has some of the best airline food I've ever had. But the IFE on Singapore Airlines is much better, as is the overall service. And then the first class and even the Raffles/business class on Singapore are simply superb... without peer.

Singapore pulls its attendants out of the sky at 23............now that's food for thought.

No. 1, apparently. Or do you prefer the 40-somethings with bad attitude and unkempt appearance on domestic airlines?

But we are really digressing from Korean food in NoVA/DC.

Yeah, I personally believe that all females should be euthanized after age 40. I mean, who wants to look at that? If your server at a restaurant is female and over 40, I think you should get a discount or something, considering that you're there to EAT.. ick.

Some American entrepreneur should approach Hooters with the idea of branching out into an airline.. something to compete with these (visually, at least, if not *actually* tactilely ) 'massage parlors of the skies.'

What I'd *really* like to see would be one whose 'attendants' (using 'steward' to describe these hunks of supremely customer-accommodating man-flesh would be unthinkable (or 'stewardess' to describe their femalel counterparts) - sexism and all, you know) were young guys in nothing but dickeys and g-strings. I mean, not literally see (I actually doubt women would be such an airline's main customers ) - I'd just feel more comfortable in a world where sexual exploitation (the voluntary sort included) were a little more equal-opportunity.

If you read my link, then I think Qantas may be the one for you.

One reader, Tiffany, wrote that on her flight from Brisbane to Los Angeles she was lucky enough to be on board an all-male attendant ship. "And the guys were really hot!" she wrote. "My friend even got one of their numbers."

You've never heard of Hooters Air? Didn't last long.

Very few countries let "slobs" work in visible customer service positions. Obviously, the US is one of them. Your height in CM minus 100 for men and 105 for women is max weight in kilograms. If you can't do the conversions, then you, too, are eliminated.

That's well and good for "normal people," esp. women, but that BMI algorithm doesn't work well for others, esp. guys, with lots of muscle mass. Maybe the Roizen and Oz model of belly fat measure (basically abdominal circumference) should be used instead. I mean, if some handsome guy who is 186 cm tall and weighs over 86 kg because he has a size 14 drop, he shouldn't be disqualified, no?

Of course, the point might be moot for most Singaporean men...
