Hello,
My wife and I will be moving out to NoVa shortly. We are considering Reston as it will be close to her new job. I still need to finish up school and it seems like GMU is a great school. BTW, any concers with the school of management there, specifically their Information Systems & management program? What I can seem to find is a comprehensive website for the bus system in Fairfax county. I can find a lot of the city bus routes and maps, but nothing for the inter city. How easy would it be to take the bus from Reston to GMU? Any other advice you can give to a young couple looking for a two bedroom in that area would be great. Any experience with Savoy at the Town Center? Thanks Junkie |

If no one happens to know the bus system, does anyone know of a comprehensive site that offers bus route planning in NoVa?
Thanks |

I don't know much about the bus service but these links might help:
http://www.gmu.edu/welcome/Directions-to-GMU.html (scroll down to the bottom) http://www.wmata.com/maps/maps.cfm?f...sAndStations.1 http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/connect...edulesmaps.htm http://www.linkinfo.org/park_ride.cfm These are probably links you've already searched before but they were all that I could find. I would recommend contacting someone at GMU, perhaps a random number like the Registar's office and simply to ask them (or have them redirect you to someone who would know) the easiest way to get to the campus via bus from Reston. Will you have a car with you? A car is really a necessity in a place like Reston and truthfully suburb-to-suburb bus commuting isn't very common. |
