Default Metropolitan at Lorton Station

Hey all,

I'm soon going to be moving to the Springfield area and was looking for an apartment that is safe, semi-reasonably priced, pet friendly, and close to a rail station.

I happened across the Metropolitan at Lorton Station (metlorton.com) apartments and though they are a little expensive they appear safe and nice, I was wondering if anyone knew any specific details good or bad about them that they would be willing to share?

Thanks

Was there last night. Well at a restaurant. It is very safe. It is in a small section of Lorton that is all brand new. In about 2 square miles or so there are single family, townhouse and apts. You have 2 big restaurants, very nice ones, and a couple smaller places, a coffee shop, hair salon, nail place, dry cleaners and couple other places. All new. It backs to the station. It is just a mile or so from a full up shopping center along Rt 1. If I was going to be in a apt I would live there.

I've driven by the area and it looks petty nice with the small businesses around it. One thing to be aware is that there is a water treatment plant across route1 . In some hot summer days, I've noticed an odd odor in that area. Maybe it's just me though...
