I am SO mad. Anyone else unable to get tickets for the Easter Egg roll?
I tried to get tickets for the White House easter egg roll for TWO HOURS. the website keeps timing out. I got all the way to freaking end and IT FREAKING TIMED OUT.
I KNOW I'm competing w/ people wanting to sell them. I am so pissed off. I'd rather have stood in line.

I also was up at 7am trying to get tickets. My DH and I made it through to the page where you type a code four times, only to have it not go through and put us back to the beginning. While I think it was a good idea in theory, it didn't work and most of the tickets were probably picked up by people that have no intention of going. I would have rather waited in line, too. Maybe they will go back to the old way next year.

Supposedly (according to Fox 5 and the White House site) they will be releasing more tickets periodically throughout the day and you should keep checking back.
I'm not sure if I got tickets or not-I got all the way to processing then it timed out. But I got a confirmation e-mail so I guess I'm good? Won't know until April 6-8 when they e-mail the link to print the tickets...

I was online at 12:00 midnight hoping, then at 4:20a, then at 5:30a, then at work at 6:30a. I saw the ticket screens at about 8:02a and got all the way through (Woo-Hoo!) then hit the "confirm".... and waited... and waited... and waited. It finally came back and said "You've waited too long to confirm your order and have been logged out. Thank you."
B*ST*RDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been checking all day with no luck.

The page does not even load for me, I keep the check back later page.
Hopefully they will change the process again next year and we can go then.
Good luck to everyone who's trying to get them.

It's much easier if you are a part of a group that volunteers for White House functions, like a democrat group. Or if you know someone who works at the White House, they can usually get you tickets. Think about who you know at the WH. If none of that works, call your Congressman ask his office to get them, assuming your rep is a democrat.
