Default Advice on parking for trip to DC next week

New to this forum so i'm glad to be here! I did want to ask though some advice concerning an upcoming trip to DC. I currently live in Charlottesville and have been going to DC on average of once a month since September and usually park my car at one of the park and ride stations on the orange line along I-66 since it's on the weekend.

However, I have family that is going to be in D.C. next week so I will be going up on the weekend but not leaving until Tuesday morning and need to be back in Charlottesville by 12:30. Can anyone recommend some realistic options? I know the orange line stations only let you park 24 hours a day on the weekdays and I don't really want to have to park at the hotel since it's 25 dollars a day there. Plus, I also was factoring in traffic as well. I was planning realistically to be out of DC by 9 AM. Any advice would be welcome!

Metro does have multi-day parking, but it's pretty limited: Metro - Rail - Parking

Another option would be Union Station ....
Parking Garage Open 24-7; Access from H St., NE - No Reserved Parking - Please Call 202-898-1950 for availability and bus parking rates and information.

There's a Metro stop there, so it's easy to get around town.

I am going to DC in the next few days, and I plan to drive to Arlington Cemetery and catch the Tourmobile from there.
