Arrow Daycare in 22192 - Woodbridge

Can anyone give me some advice on good daycare centers in the 22192 zip code. From what I have been able to research, 22192 seems to meet our needs financially and in other areas. Now I need to see what the daycare scene looks like. Searching online has just given me countless names. I dont live in the area yet so I cant go and take a look at the centers, looking for advice from parents who have found a place they feel comfortable leaving their children at for daycare. Thanks.

This post has been bugging me for weeks. I had my son in a day care center in Lake Ridge that was great! Is there a Wegmans in a shopping center that has a child care center? We had to drive around back for parking. They were wonderful! I wish I could remember the name of the center, but it escapes me. Son is now 16 years old.

I know where you are thinking of!

No, it's not a Wegman's. I think it used to be a Weis. It is now Bloom. It is the Dillingham Square Shopping Center I believe. Honestly, I think that daycare center is gone and that it was a Minnieland. It escapes me. I just remember going there and seeing the "playground" in the back. I think it's Gold's Gym now.

I used to use an older, non-chain daycare center in 22192. It was right off Minnieville Road across the street from Home Depot and Kohl's. It sits on a few acres and the building is pretty old. I don't even think most people are aware it is a daycare center.

It was owned by a husband and wife (retired educators). They owned one other in Manassas. While the building was fairly crappy, they did try to improve it, but the best thing was that many of the teachers had been there for AGES. Very low turnover. My kids were happy there. They also had a lot of land for the kids to be outside on without a lot of cars/shopping/people all over the place. The place is still there. It did change its name recently so I can't even tell you what it is called but they are having an open house this Saturday (11 April). I did manage to see that sign!

Weis could have been it. It was something with a W. Loved their playground for the little ones. They covered it with chopped up old tires which made it squishy when they fell. Sorry to hear it's gone! And I was thinking it was a Minnieland, but I wasn't positive. Thanks!
