Don't live in Fredricksburg if you have to commute to Bethesda. There are so many alternative places to live that are equally cheap with a much better commute. Maryland's not that bad.

Agreed, I used to refuse work across the river from Spotsylvania. Boy, did I think I was so cool.
Now I work in extreme SW DC so it's just a mile or 2 further than Pentagon City. I used to tell myself that I'd never cross the river again. It is funny what you will do when you need to work.
Slugging is cool and all, but it has it's limitations just like public transportation. I miss slugging.

Now I work in extreme SW DC so it's just a mile or 2 further than Pentagon City. I used to tell myself that I'd never cross the river again. It is funny what you will do when you need to work.
