Great Falls Manor subdivision in Mclean, Virginia (Falls Church: house, neighborhood)

We are looking at a house in the Great Falls Manor subdivision in Mclean. The schools are Kent Gardens, Longfellow and Mclean. The house is off Great Falls street and seems to be conveniently located but I am not that familiar with this area and would love to hear people's opinion about the neighborhood, schools, etc. Thanks!

I'm very familiar with that general area, but not the specific neighborhood. Looking at a map, it appears to be located very close to the Toll Road. Depending upon the exact location of the house, noise might be an issue. The neighborhood also seems narrow and boxed in by the Toll Road and Great Falls Street, which is a pretty busy road with its own noise issues.
Other than that, it's extremely convenient. You are close to the West Falls Church Metro, within walking distance of all three schools, close to several private swim clubs (Kent Gardens and McLean), and convenient to shopping.

While Kent Gardens isn't the best school in McLean, there are no really bad schools in McLean. It has a French immersion program which some like. Longfellow has a huge gt center that is well regarded. McLean high school is a very good school too.
