Default New houses in Northern VA right next to the highway or intersection

Here in Northern VA I can not believe where some of the houses are being built. Some are as close as 15 feet from major Commerical Intersections. When the light changes loud cars and trucks will make incredible noise and it must be so loud in the bedrooms of these homes. It seem like the homes and apartments are being built closer and closer to the road. I am talking about major highways and commerical roads that would bring thousands of cars and trucks within yards of the bedroom window.

I know that lack of space and developer greed requires this type of development but who is buying these homes? Would you... if the price was right?

williamsburgfan is on a distinguished road
this is not unique to NOVA. All major areas have this. it is not developer greed, it is what the market will bear. if someone (not me at any price) buys them the market will prove they are a "go".
