Default Round Hill or Leesburg commute to Ashburn / Ashburn TH?

Hi, My fiance and I are looking to move to NOVA and are considering houses in Round Hill and Leesburg areas. Does anyone have ideas on what the commute would be at various times of day from these two locations to Ashburn? I have seen the suggestions to multiply miles by 2 or 2.5 but I just wanted to check that still applies in this situation.

Also, we are considering townhouses in Ashburn if the commute is too long. We wouldn't really want to pay more than 250 for a townhouse and we need a garage. Do people have suggestions of areas in Ashburn or communities that we could consider? There seem to be an awful lot of foreclosures on the market but we are a bit clueless about where to begin our search in Ashburn. We have no children so schools are not an issue.

Thanks!
