Default Nokesville area: Please post if you have firsthand experience with this area

My husband may be applying for a job at Quantico. We have some distant family that lives in Nokesville, but we really haven't been to that area much. From what we can tell, it is still fairly rural, which is what we want. If you live in this area, can you share a little more about the area in terms of safety, sense of community, etc. Also, I would love any first hand knowlege about the following schools:
Nokesville Elementary
Marsteller Middle School
Brentsville High School

Thanks!

Nokesville is an old farming community with very few farms left. Still a nice area that has seen a fair amount of growth over the years. To build a home you'll need 10 acres as it's part of Rural Crescent area. The worse thing about Nokesville is Nokesville Rd (RT 28). This 2 lane road leads to Manassas and in rush hour times can be a pain getting to Manassas or back home. The mornings seem worse.
Of the schools you've listed only 2 are actually in Nokesville. Marstellar is a few miles away. The elementary and high school are good schools and there is a sense of community here. They are smaller than average schools which help with this. I wouldn't hesitate to live there.

Why do people post questions on here if they aren't going to come back to acknowledge or read responses?
