Default relocation to Metro DC area
I may be relocating to the metro DC area. The office will be in McLean, but be traveling all over the metro DC area for the job. I am single professional woman, no children, but I do have a dog and 43. I would like to be able to meet new people and have access to the culture the area has to offer. I have heard good things about Alexandria, but not sure which parts. Old Town will be out of my budget. I will be looking to rent. Any thoughts and help would be appreciated.

Some parts of Fall Church might work well for you. But, like mommy points out, it matters what budget you have to work with.
