Good Wings
Can anybody recommend a good place to get wings around Springfield? When we lived in PW Co we would get them from Buffalo Philly's or Wings To Go and thought they were pretty good.

Usually get my wings from Buffalo Wing factory in chantilly, but in Springfield, we like Maleks. Its a small Italian place (great pizza too), but I love the wings there.

I wish I could identify a good fastfoody wing delivery place near Clermont/Rose Hill (22310). I've run over to Wingstop near Fort Belvoir and like their wings, but it's a bit of a hike to do that on a regular basis.
Hard Times in Springfield has good grilled wings, but they're not particularly spicey are more gourmet-type than what I'm usually in the mood for. When I eat wings I want something that will burn my mouth and/or clog my arteries.

I like the wings at Hard Times because they aren't too hot or spicy.

Glory Days in West Springfield has some pretty good wings.
Red Hot and Blue on 123 in Fairfax might be worth a try.

Yeah, I've had some of those. Thanks. I'm not talking about those types of wings though. I don't think places like Malek's would have them either. Might be a shot in the dark here, but if anyone has had Quaker Steak and Lube wings, that's what I'm talkin' about. Maybe some golden garlic, louisiana lickers, pepper ranch...that kind of stuff.

Wing Zone - Alexandria
3817 Mount Vernon Avenue
Alexandria, VA 22305
phone: 703-299-WING (9464)
Used to shop there all the time. Its a carry out joint.
Not bad.
But its hard to beat wings from Hard Times, IMHO.

Buffalo Wild Wings has (finally!) started putting some restaurants in the Northern VA area. One just opened in gainesville, with stores coming soon in Manassas and Ashburn. Maybe check to see if any are opening soon near you?
I love their wings, they are the ones I compare everyone too. The Mango Habanero sauce is amazing!
