Can someone recommend some good men's clothing stores in the area, something other than the usual Joseph A. Banks or Brooks Brothers, and something that is not a chain? Anywhere in the greater NoVa area, down to Richmond or up to DC is probably fine. Not looking for super-pricey, just better than what Banks has to offer and a good selection.

I have a wool sports coat that is 20 years old and still in good condition. Kuppenheimer. I think Men's Warehouse is very credible.

Try Dash of Old Town (Alexandria). They're on the 1100 block of King Street. There's another men's store further down around the 600 block on the same side of the street.
