City of Falls Church Memorial Day Parade and Festival
Since people are starting to think about what to do for Memorial Day, I thought I'd mention the
City of Falls Church Memorial Day Parade and Festival (http://www.fallschurchva.gov/Content/Docs/MemorialDayFlyer2009.pdf - broken link) [PDF schedule]. It runs from 9-5 on Memorial Day in downtown Falls Church (on the grounds and in the streets around City Hall). It is a lot of fun. I play in the City of Falls Church Concert Band, and we'll be on at 12:15. This is my 8th year playing the festival, and it really has that great small-town feeling (and funnel cake too!
