Siding cost? (Springfield, Herndon: how much, house, price)

Roughly how much would it cost to install new siding on a basic 3 bdrm 2.5 bath split level sfh in the older section of Herndon? The house is 2 stories on the back side, one on the front. Anything to be wary of when looking for siding companies? Any siding companies to definitely consider?

I can recommend a two-man operation which did great siding jobs on two homes on my street in Springfield during the past year. They also installed new windows in these homes. The owner-builder is rooted in the Springfield community. He uses one skilled helper. I'll try to remember to get his name and number from my neighbor soon and post it on your string.

Realistically, I think the price is going to vary dramatically depending on the quality of the siding you pick.
