They'll find out in about 2 or 3 months.

Nope...sorry to disappoint you. We've lived in this area twice before, both times for three years. We have always liked Burke and Fairfax County.

I guess you gotta like it to be here for a third time. I'd never volunteer for a second term here.
Well, Burke aint half bad. I actually have a soft spot (I didn't say LIKE) for West Springfield/Burke and the the 22310/22315 zip codes. Guess you could have ended up somewhere worse....like Alexandria.

LOL, you just brought up a fond memory. I remember saying something like that the first time I lived out here, too. Couldn't wait to get away--but after I moved I discovered I missed it more than I thought I would. I think I was also a little too young for the area. Young people should spend time on the west coast or some other beach town. That's the place to be when you're in your early 20s. IMO, of course. Nova's for when you get a little older.

The stigma's more deserving for the preppy/yuppie parts of Arlington and (to an extent), Alexandria, where many of the twenty-somethings who live on mommy and daddy's money live.
I've never really experienced a massive amount of rudeness and coldness from Virginians, even those who live in Fairfax, Loudoun, or Prince William.
