We're relocating to Gainesville in two months. Anyone knows any great preschools or private schools in Gainesville they can recommend? Also, the best way to find a townhome for rent? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Default Great Preschools in Gainesville

There's St. Paul's School in Haymarket which has a preschool that has been highly rated for more than 12 years. Many of my neighbors in Piedmont have sent their kids there and brag about their success. I recommended it to my sister-in-law and she is very happy.

make sure to ask about registration process. It's going to be really competitive, so there's no guarantee you will be able to get in there.

We tried to get our kid into the kindergarten at St. Paul's School last year and couldn't get in.

Sorry--replied to the wrong post. You can try St. Paul's but it is hard to get into. We tried last year to get our kid into the kindergarten class and it was full. But the school is considered the best so it is worth a try. We ended up sending our son to Mountain View. The problem is that they have a high teacher-pupil ratio. We are not happy but we haven't much of a choice. Good luck.
