I haven't seen any other posts with this situation, so I thought I would ask here. My husband went to court yesterday for reckless (speeding). He said the judge wouldn't even listen to him, but gave him a fine of $176 and 1 month suspended license. Today my husband put in a motion for a restricted license to drive to work and pick up kids, and it was denied. He didn't get a lawyer or take the driving class (yes, I know he should've

). This was his 1st reckless, but he had other speeding tickets from a few years back.
My question is, does he have any recourse now? If we got a lawyer now to appeal, would it do any good? He just needs to be able to get to work and pick up his kids (my step children which I can't always get to in time because of my work). Any advice or are we just out of luck?
Thank you!
