Lake Manassas Academy is very nice and clean and well run but is much more expensive than smaller private preschools.
We are new too and have talked to dozens of parents and feel like we have the scoop on all three preschools. From what parents have been telling us, they are the best in the area: Lake Manassas Academy, St. Paul's School-Preschool, and Haymarket Baptist. There is also an outstanding one in Manassas called Compass.
St. Paul's School & Preschool is not expensive but not easy to get into, depending on the class level. We were on a waiting list for a while but finally got in. It was well worth the wait.
Haymarket Baptist is also a good school but is also usually full and they do not have all of the amenities of St. Paul's. However, they do have a large playground, but they also have a very large preschool population.
