Hey, We all know the COL is high in Nova but, we do get paid a little more because of it. I found this tool and its really helped me realize that I can live in Nova on my salary! Hope it helps you too!! Budget calculator

Thought this might help it is a paycheck calculator for any state and is usually only about $25 to $50 off.

I like the AARP budget calculator because it also gives you recommended amounts for each category based on your income so you can easily see where your expenses are above or below the expected for your income level.

I used the AARP Calculator and it seems I'd be okay as well. I just have to budget myself quite a bit and not splurge as much as I have been. (even though I make less money currently, but pay less rent, use less gas, and have cheaper car insurence).
