Our house with ANV is still going on, going to a historic 18 months from the contract date,,,, not yet completed. It is not a big big house, a normal 2-story house that can be seen in NOVA area. We are getting sick and tired of waiting for the date. We paid 14 months rent as of today, which is $42,000. So, any one who consider going with ANV needs to include this cost + several thousand dollars extra they charge from time to time during the process for this and that: e.g., the price on the website (e.g., about $440,000 from the website) + necessary option and upgrades (about $20,000-100,000, about $70,000 in our case) + grading, county fees, etc. (about $15,000) + mortgage closing cost (about $13,000) + extra cost charged during construction (about and up to $10,000?) + site work ($50,000-$90,000; $70,000 in our case) + basement finish ($50,000 +- 10,000 depending on the sfs) + rental fee (about $50,000 in our case including 18 or 19 month rent + moving fee) + additional cost for grass, deck, fence, landscape ...

Default Evergreen, ANV, or Classic?

Does anyone have recent experience to share with any of the builders? I am looking to build a 3000~4000 sf. ft. house on a .25 acre lot. Any comments on costs, construction duration, customer service, processes, etc. will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Absolutely no need to revive three separate threads to ask the exact same question.

I was trying to get maximum exposure and get as much response as possible from people. Is it against any rule to post more than one post? If so, I am sorry. I was not aware. I am new here. If you have link to the general rules on blogging on this forum, could you forward? Thanks in advance.

Also, do you have any feedback on my questions about the builders? It looks like you monitor the posts on a real time basis. Thanks in advance for any helpful feedback.
