Anyone have recent experience hiring a wedding photographer who does good work at a reasonable price? My daughter is researching photographers for her June 2010 wedding in the area. Thanks.

Wedding photography for your special day. Torre Photography photographs weddings throughout Washington DC, Maryland, Virgina and The Outer Banks!
I HIGHLY recommend him! He did an awesome job at our wedding, and we got the basic package (Now $900). You get him for 7 hours, and he does a great job. The best deal is that
he gives you the pictures on a DVD! Most photographers require that you buy ALL of your pictures through them, but he doesn't. That alone will save you a lot of money. He's out of Woodbridge.

Not sure what his rates are like, but my friend hired this guy Tristan to take photos of her wedding
7th Avenue Studios Photography by Tristan Spinski (Photography -> Weddings -> Marie & Mike) and I think they look great. The guy took over 2500 photos and like the others put them on DVD so they can print any photos they want whenever they want.
One of the things I really like is that he takes a lot of photos that don't look staged, really a excellent photographer.
