Default Commute from Haymarket to Stafford?

Is this even doable? I might be moving to Haymarket in a few months and would like to know what the commute would be like from there to Stafford. Thanks!

You could take the back roads, I.e Linton Hall Road to Bristow Road. It would be twists and tourney if you like that. Or take Prince William Parkway down to 95 south.

If you want to pull your hair out! I hate driving 619 Joplin Road. It's one reason I don't got to the commissary any more. I'd hate to drive that round trip every day.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

I would be working east of I95, maybe half a mile off exit 143a on route 1 (near Carlos O'Kelleys).

When I google the trip from stafford to haymarket it tells me 55 minutes. What I'm trying to get is if that is a realistic time or if the reality of it would be a lot worse? I can handle a fairly long commute, since I live in Boston now, but anything beyond an hour starts to get pretty bad.

Thanks!

That should be pretty accurate. Might depend on what time you're leaving in the AM. You're going against traffic so I can't imagine it should be an issue.

Julie you really need to come down here and make that test trip, and do it during the week. Traffic here is worse than you could ever imagine. Boston's traffic is not bad, here it's terrible.
