Now that Sterling's going to have a minor league baseball team, they'll need a catchy name. Any suggestions?

I think they should call 'em the Sterling Silvers.

I bet they don't go with the "Sterling" name, but go with something a little more broad such as the "Loudoun...".

The Loudon Noise? The Loudon Loudmouths? The Sterling Stirrers? The Sterling Silver Bullets?

Yeah Sterling Silver was the first thing that came to my mind too.

Oh you know what, I think that side of Rt. 28 is actually in Ashburn. So we'll have to call them the Ashburn Ashes.

Their slogan can be "No matter how bad we might be we're still better than the Nats."

Dulles appears to be the most coveted name in the area. There's at least four major developments in the area: Dulles Corner, Dulles Station, Dulles East, and Dulles for everything around the Town 'Center' (which is really close to Sterling - Countryside). Perhaps they'll just call it Kincora.

I think they'll call the team the Dulles Diplomats, or the Dips for short.

What about the "NoVA Nasties", the "NoVA Nightwalkers", the "NoVA Newbies", or the more generic "NoVA Nationals?"

The NoVA Sprawl. That name will strike fear in anyone.

No better yet the NoVA MS-13, the NoVA Gridlockers, or the NoVA McMansions.
