best optometrist? tysons corner/vienna/falls church
What's the best optometrist in the area?
I went to some place called "my eye doctor" and the main doc was fresh out of school and his saucy receptionist and sales staff tried to get me to buy 1 years worth of contacts, new glass and new sunglasses all in the same day!
Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.
Keep it saucy.

If you don't mind driving to Herndon, we really like Dr. Finley.

When I lived in Arlington and Falls Church, I used to see Dr. Warren in Bailey's Crossroads, and he was wonderful. The only reason I don't still go there is the distance from where I live now.

Dr Robert Warren
Dr Robert Warren receives my highest recommendation. I started with his father Evert, in 1961, and Evert diagnosed a condition of my eyes that 3 Ophthalmologists in the military had missed, as well as my home-town ophthalmologist. After Evert retired, I have been going to his son Robert, who is every bit as good as his father, if not better. Robert worked under his father, when they had their practice in McLean. (I became a professional pilot after discovering his father, and have now retired from aviation.) Again Robert is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. His examinations are very thorough.

Not an optometrist, but an opthomologist (They're M.D.'s, and I think they're more thorough)----Dr. Melanie Buttross. I've recommended her to several people. She's great.
