The house is not painted in red and wipe stripes - it is just a huge expansion and remodel that was done a little tacky.

We live in 22015....Burke. My youngest goes to Kings Park Elementary. I've never heard anything bad about the area. And we've been thrilled with King's Park Elementary. I think the kids are in King's Park through 3rd then they go to King's Glen. Braddock Secondary is 7-12. I have two kids at Braddock (10th and 11th grade) and we are really happy with the school.

We won't be able to tell what time of year it is; because they leave the Christmas Lights up all year.

Smile Kings Park is a great neighborhood

I've lived in Kings Park for almost 32 years and love it here. It is convenient to so many destinations. We've enjoyed great neighbors, solid, well-run schools and an active, involved community. Parliament Pool is the hub of family summer activity with swim and dive teams and lots of social events. We have an active voluntary civic association that sponsors many great events throughout the year. There is a book club, a group for seniors, lots of opportunities for kids. The houses are solidly built and you can get an updated one or, at a lower price point, one that needs some TLC but will quickly recapture its value. You'll see neighbors taking walks throughout the day and night. It is a place where people are neighborly and look out for each other. I am a woman and I feel perfectly safe taking night walks with my little dog. We have many families that are second generation -- buying in the same neighborhood where they were raised.
