We are looking for Washington Mutuals and Wells Fargo that are in close vicinity of Milford. We are currently here for a few months for Pipeline work. Thank you for any help or directions to these banks.

Although Milford may appear to be in the top half of Virginia geographically speaking, many locals may not consider it to be part of "Northern Virginia". You may have better luck on either the Richmond forum or general Virginia forum.

Didn't WaMu go belly up a while back...and was bought by JP Morgan Chase? I believe so....Chase wanted to expand to the west coast and picked up all those west coast WaMu branches for a song. I don't think Chase has much, if any, brick and mortar presence in VA.

Wells Fargo did the same thing in reverse when Wachovia imploded. There are many, many Wachovia branches all over VA....that might be your best bet.

Thanks..yea, Wamu is soon to be Chase. I will check the Richmond area. Milford is around Ladysmith and Bowling Green, I think we are not to far away from Fredricksburg. Its really a nice area, quiet and beautiful with all the trees and country around us.

Yeah, there are definitely Wachovia branches around F'burg.

BTW, all the big banks absolutely suck. Find yourself a good credit union!
