I'll be taking a job at Fairfax hospital and would like to get a place in Vienna. What will the commute be like in certain parts of Vienna?

i.e., Wolftrap, church street area, just off of Gallows near Tysons Reserve townhouses, etc?

thanks

Gallows to the hospital is a straight shot, maybe 10 to 15 minutes. Church street area would be a bit longer, perhaps 20 minutes, and Wolftrap about the same or a few more minutes. Overall, Vienna is a great place to live if you are working at Fairfax Hospital.

Kirby Rd is renamed Idylwood Rd in Falls Church. The road intersects at a 4-way light with Gallows Rd in Vienna. You're probably moving counter to most of the traffic since people use Kirby/Idylwood as a backroad to commute to Arlington.

Give yourself 20-30 min as traffic and construction on Gallows sometimes holds things up...Your commute will not be bad at all. You lucked out!
