If you want to order a local turkey for Thanksgiving, your options are relatively limited. The two that I know of have deadlines coming up.
Local Flavor LLC in Rappahannock County has just a few fresh, free-range turkeys for November and December deliveries in Loudoun –
deadline to order is noon Oct. 28. In other words, tomorrow. For info:

Hmmm, I wonder how free range turkey tastes around here? I've only had free range turkey in the Philippines and it was a little stringy considering the turkey was sort of old - lol
