Traffic has been a bear this week moreso than usual. Last week was generally-speaking a cakewalk (save for Tuesday). This week everyday has been heinous. It took me nearly 40 minutes to get from Reston to McLean on Monday! I thought I was the only one who noticed this.

I commute from Reston to Dulles. It takes me about ten minutes... and going up to Ashburn would be a breeze. (Warning, I don't leave my apartment until close to 10am though.)

This morning, around 10:15, 28 South was backed up big time. I have no idea why.

Oh...no, I noticed too, lol! Especially b/c I now work in McLean so I am sure I was sitting in it with you! It was awful! I don't get it. And I was driving at 9am, so school should have not been the issue.

BTW - There are ways to get to Ashburn without ever hitting 28, from Herndon.
Just in case..

Well actually a lot of the elementary schools around here don't start until 9:05 or 9:15 and with the kinks in bus schedules still being worked out, I'd bet some of the traffic was still due to school traffic.
